၁။ နိဒါန်း
နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်(ကျောက်ဆည်)သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအလယ်ပိုင်း၊ မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီး၊ ကျောက်ဆည်ခရိုင်၊ ကျောက်ဆည်မြို့နယ်တွင်တည်ရှိပါသည်။
ကျောက်ဆည်မြို့နယ်သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ အလယ်ပိုင်း မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးတွင်တည်ရှိပြီး အရှေ့၊ အနောက်(၅၅)မိုင် တောင်၊ မြောက် (၁၆)မိုင် ရှည်လျားပြီး မြို့နယ်၏ဧရိယာစတုရန်းမိုင်ပေါင်း (၇၂၅.၂၈၀) ရှိပါသည်။ နယ်နိမိတ်အနေဖြင့် အရှေ့ဘက်မှာ ရွာငံမြို့နယ်၊ ပြင်ဦးလွင်မြို့နယ်၊ တောင်ဘက်မှာ မြစ်သားမြို့နယ်၊ အနောက်ဘက်မှာ တံတားဦးမြို့နယ်၊ မြောက်ဘက်မှာ စဉ့်ကိုင်မြို့နယ်တို့နှင့် နယ်နိမိတ် ထိစပ်လျက်ရှိပြီး လူဦးရေအနေဖြင့် (၂)သိန်း (၅)သောင်းကျော် နေထိုင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။ ပင်လယ်ရေ မျက်နှာပြင်အထက် (၂၇၁)ပေရှိပြီး အမြင့်ပေ (၉၇၃)ပေ အမြင့်ရှိသည့် ရွှေသာလျောင်းတောင်နှင့် ဇော်ဂျီ၊ ပန်းလောင်၊ စမုံမြစ်များရှိပြီး မြစ်များသည် အရှေ့တောင်မှ အနောက်မြောက်သို့ စီးဆင်းလျက်ရှိပါသည်။ ဆန်စပါးကို အဓိကထားစိုက်ပျိုးပြီး ပဲ၊ ပြောင်း၊ ချည်မျှင်ရှည်ဝါ၊ ငရုပ်၊ ကြက်သွန် စသည့်သီးနှံမျိုးစုံနှင့် ဆီထွက်သီးနှံများဖြစ်သည့် မြေပဲ၊ နှမ်း၊ နေကြာများလည်း စိုက်ပျိုးလျက်ရှိပါသည်။
ကျောက်ဆည်မြို့နယ်၏ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်နှင့် ရိုးရာဓလေ့များကတော့ ဘုရားများတည်ထား ကိုးကွယ်ခြင်း၊ သာသနိကအဆောက်အဦးများ ပြန်လည်မွမ်းမံတည်ဆောက်ခြင်း၊ အနော်ရထာမင်းတရားကြီး ၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို အသိအမှတ်ပြုသည့်အနေဖြင့် သာသနာပြုဆင်ဖြူတော်ကို အမှတ်တရရှိစေရန် နှစ်စဉ် သီတင်းကျွတ်လပြည့်နေ့တိုင်း ရွှေသာလျောင်းတောင်ထိပ်ဆုတောင်းပြည့်ဘုရားတွင် ဆင်ဖြူတော်၊ ရွှေဆင်၊ ငွေဆင်၊ ဘော်ကြယ်ဆင်စသည့် ဆင်အရုပ်များဖြင့် ဆင်လှူပွဲကျင်းပကြပြီး ဘုရားစေတီပုထိုးများတွင် ဆွမ်းကွမ်း များဆပ်ကပ်လှူဒါန်းလေ့ရှိပါသည်။ ဆင့်အကအလှပြိုင်ပွဲကို နှစ်စဉ်သီတင်းကျွတ်လဆန်း (၁၄)ရက်နေ့တွင် ရိုးရာဆင်၊ ကလေးဆင်၊ ဘော်ကြယ်ဆင်၊ တီထွင်ဆန်းသစ်မှု သဘာဝဆင်များဖြင့် ပျော်ရွှင်စွာဆင်နွှဲခဲ့သည့် ဓလေ့တစ်ရပ်ပေါ်ထွန်းလျက်ရှိသည့်အတွက် မြန်မာကသာမက ကမ္ဘာကပါ လာရောက်လေ့လာကြသည့်အတွက် ကျောက်ဆည်မြို့ကို ဆင်မြို့တော်လို့ ခေါ်တွင်စေပြီး လူအများသိတဲ့ မြို့လေးတစ်မြို့ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ကျောက်ဆည်မြို့ရဲ့ နိုင်ငံ့စီးပွားရေးအတွက်ထုတ်လုပ်ပေးနေသည့် အကြီးစားလုပ်ငန်းစီမံကိန်း ကတော့ စက်မှုဇုံနယ်မြေရှိ ကြံ့နှစ်ကောင် ဘိလပ်မြေစက်ရုံအပြင် ရဲစုရပ်ကွက်ရှိ မြဘုရင် နို့ချက်စက်ရုံလည်းရှိပါသည်။ ဒေသတစ်ခုထွက်ကုန်တစ်ခုအနေဖြင့် ဟန်မြင့်မိုရ်ကျေးရွာမှာလည်း သရက်သီး ကိုအခြခံပြီး သရက်ယို၊ သရက်ဖျော်ရည်၊ သရက်ဝိုင်၊ သရက်တော်ဖီ၊ သရက်ဂျယ်လီ စသည့်တန်ဖိုးမြှင့် ထုတ်ကုန်များ ထုတ်လုပ်လျက် ရှိပါသည်။
၂။ တက္ကသိုလ်စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်သည့်အခြေအနေ
သိပ္ပံနှင့်နည်းပညာဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်တစ်ခုဖြစ်သည့် သိပ္ပံနည်းပညာနှင့် ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှု လုပ်ငန်းနယ်ပယ်တွေမှာ လိုအပ်သည့် ကျွမ်းကျင်သော လူ့စွမ်းအားအရင်းအမြစ်များ စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ပေါ်ထွန်းလာရေးအတွက် ပြုစုပျိုးထောင်လေ့ကျင့်မွေးထုတ်ပေးရန်ဆိုသည့် တာဝန်တစ်ရပ်ကို ဆောင်ရွက် ပေးနိုင်ရန် နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်(ကျောက်ဆည်)ကို စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်(ကျောက်ဆည်)သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအလယ်ပိုင်း၊ မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီး၊ ကျောက်ဆည်ခရိုင်၊ ကျောက်ဆည်မြို့နယ်၊ အေးမြကြည်လင်ရပ်ကွက်တွင်တည်ရှိပြီး၊ အကျယ်အဝန်း (၉၁.၃၃)ဧကရှိသော သိပ္ပံနှင့်နည်းပညာဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ အဆင့်မြင့်သိပ္ပံနှင့်နည်းပညာဦးစီးဌာနအောက်ရှိ နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။
နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်(ကျောက်ဆည်)ကို ၁၉၉၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် အစိုးရစက်မှုလက်မှုသိပ္ပံ(GTI) အဖြစ် စတင်တည်ထောင်ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၂၀၀၁ ခုနှစ်တွင် နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်ကောလိပ် (GTC)အဖြစ် အဆင့်မြှင့်ခဲ့ပြီး ၂၀၀၇ ခုနှစ်တွင် နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်(ကျောက်ဆည်)အဖြစ် ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
တက္ကသိုလ်၏ မျှော်မှန်းချက်
သက်ဆိုင်ရာအင်ဂျင်နီယာနယ်ပယ်နှင့် ဆက်စပ်သော လုပ်ငန်းခွင်များတွင် အံဝင်ခွင်ကျ ချိတ်ဆက် ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ပြီး ကျွမ်းကျင်တတ်မြောက်သော၊ ကျင့်ဝတ်များကို စောင့်ထိန်းလိုက်နာပြီး တီထွင်ဖန်တီးတတ် သော အင်ဂျင်နီယာများ မွေးထုတ်ပေးနိုင်သည့် အသိအမှတ်ပြု တက္ကသိုလ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်လာစေရန်

၁။ သိပ္ပံနှင့်အင်ဂျင်နီယာပညာရပ်ဆိုင်ရာ အခြေခံများကို ပိုင်နိုင်၍ ဆိုင်ရာအထူးပြုဘာသာရပ်များကို သိရှိနားလည်အသုံးချနိုင်စေရေးအတွက် သင်ကြားလေ့ကျင့်မှုနှင့်အတူ ခေါင်းဆောင်မှုနှင့် ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်တတ်မှု၊ ကျင့်ဝတ်ဆိုင်ရာ စောင့်ထိန်းလိုက်နာမှုတို့ကို လေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားပေးရန်
၂။ သိပ္ပံနှင့်အင်ဂျင်နီယာနယ်ပယ်နှင့်ဆိုင်သော ဌာနတစ်ခုချင်းအလိုက်သော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဌာနများ၊ တက္ကသိုလ်များ၊ သုတေသနဌာနများ၊ စက်မှုလုပ်ငန်းများ၊ သင်တန်းဌာနများပူးပေါင်း၍ သော်လည်းကောင်း လူမှုအကျိုးပြုသုတေသနလုပ်ငန်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်းကို အားပေးမြှင့်တင်ရန်
၃။ တက္ကသိုလ်အတွင်းရှိ ဝန်ထမ်းများ၊ ကျောင်းသား/ကျောင်းသူများ၏ သင်ကြားသင်ယူမှုနှင့် တိုးတက် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးမှုတိုးအတွက် လိုအပ်ချက်များကို ဖော်ထုတ်၍ ဖြည့်ဆည်းပေးရန်
၄။ အလုပ်အကိုင်အခွင့်အလမ်းများရရှိရေးအတွက် သက်ဆိုင်ရာသိပ္ပံနှင့်အင်ဂျင်နီယာဘာသာရပ်များနှင့် ဆက်နွယ်မှုရှိသော ဌာနများ၊ လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များနှင့် ချိတ်ဆက်ပေးရန်
နည်းပညာတက္ကသိုလ်(ကျောက်ဆည်)၏ ပညာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုကို စီမံခန့်ခွဲရာတွင် ၂၀၁၅ ခုနှစ်မှ စတင်ကာ နိုင်ငံတကာစီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုများ စံချိန်စံညွှန်း ISO 9001 ကို လက်ခံကျင့်သုံးခဲ့ပြီး အသိအမှတ်ပြုလက်မှတ် များ ရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၂၀၁၇ ခုနှစ်တွင် မြို့ပြအင်ဂျင်နီယာ၊ အီလက်ထရောနစ်အင်ဂျင်နီယာ၊ စက်မှုအင်ဂျင်နီယာ၊ လျှပ်စစ်စွမ်းအားအင်ဂျင်နီယာ၊ သုတနည်းပညာနှင့် သတ္တုဗေဒအင်ဂျင်နီယာနှင့်ဒြပ်ပစ္စည်းသိပ္ပံအင်ဂျင်နီယာ ဘာသာရပ်များသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအင်ဂျင်နီယာကောင်စီ၊ အင်ဂျင်နီယာပညာရေး စိစစ်အကဲဖြတ်မှုကော်မတီ များ၏ ပဏာမ အသိအမှတ်ပြုမှုကို ရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်တွင် အာဆီယံတက္ကသိုလ်များကွန်ယက်၏ အရည်အသွေးအာမခံမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်း (AUN-QA) တွင် အဖွဲ့ဝင်အဖြစ်ပါဝင်ခွင့် ရရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။ လက်ရှိတွင် (AUN-QA) Community Project (၂၀၂၃-၂၀၂၇) ကို နည်းပညာတ္ကသိုလ်(ကျောက်ဆည်)အနေဖြင့် ပါဝင် ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။
ပထမဆုံးအကြိမ် သုတေသနကို ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်၊ ဩဂုတ်လတွင် ကျင်းပနိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး ပထမဆုံးသုတေသန ဂျာနယ်ကို ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇန်နဝါရီလတွင် ထုတ်ဝေနိုင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်အထိ သုတေသနဂျာနယ် စုစုပေါင်း (၆)ကြိမ် ထုတ်ဝေထားပြီးဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဆက်လက်၍ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် သုတေသနဂျာနယ် (၇)ကြိမ်မြောက် ထုတ်ဝေမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
၁၉၉၈ ခုနှစ် မှ ၂၀၀၀ ခုနှစ်ထိ တက္ကသိုလ်စတင်ဖွင့်လှစ်သင်ကြားခဲ့သည့် ဘာသာရပ်များမှာ Civil, EC, EP, MP, MT ဘာသာရပ်များဖြစ်ပြီး ပေးအပ်ခဲ့သည့်ဘွဲ့များမှာ AGTI Certificate ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ၂၀၀၂ ခုနှစ် မှ၂၀၀၃ ခုနှစ်ထိ ဖွင့်လှစ်သင်ကြားခဲ့သည့်ဘာသာရပ်များမှာ IT, MC, Metal, Textile, Bio-T, Aqua တို့ဖြစ်ပြီး ပေးအပ်ခဲ့သည့်ဘွဲ့များမှာ နည်းပညာ (B-Tech) ဘွဲ့ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ၂၀၀၄ ခုနှစ် မှ၂၀၀၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် ထပ်တိုး ဖွင့်လှစ်သင်ကြားခဲ့သည့် ဘာသာရပ်မှာ Architecture ဘာသာရပ်ဖြစ်ပြီး ပေးအပ်ခဲ့သည့်ဘွဲ့မှာ နည်းပညာဗိသုကာ (B-Arch)ဘွဲ့ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ၂၀၀၆ ခုနှစ် မှ၂၀၀၇ ခုနှစ်တွင် ထပ်တိုးဖွင့်လှစ်သင်ကြားခဲ့သည့် ဘာသာရပ်များမှာ Chemical, Mining ဘာသာရပ်တို့ဖြစ်ပြီး ပေးအပ်ခဲ့သည့်ဘွဲ့မှာ နည်းပညာ (B-Tech) ဘွဲ့ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ၂၀၀၇ ခုနှစ် မှ ၂၀၀၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် ထပ်တိုးဖွင့်လှစ်သင်ကြားခဲ့သည့် ဘာသာရပ်မှာ NT ဘာသာရပ် ဖြစ်ပြီး ပေးအပ်ခဲ့သည့်ဘွဲ့မှာ အင်ဂျင်နီယာ (BE) ဘွဲ့ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
၃။ အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ဆောင်ရွက်မှုနှင့် တိုးတက်မှုအခြေအနေများ

- Introduction
Kyaukse Township is located in the central region of Myanmar, within Mandalay Region. It is 55 miles from east to west and 16 miles from north to south, covering a total area of 725.280 square miles. It shares borders with Ywangan Township and Pyin Oo Lwin Township to the east, Myittha Township to the south, Tada-U Township to the west, and Singu Township to the north. The township’s elevation is 271 feet above sea level, with Shwethalyaung Mountain standing at 973 feet. The Zawgyi, Panlaung, and Samon rivers flow through the area from the southeast to the northwest. Agriculture is the primary economic activity in Kyaukse Township, with rice as the main crop. Other cultivated crops include beans, corn, long-staple cotton, chili peppers, onions, and various oil-producing plants such as peanuts, sesame, and sunflowers.
Kyaukse Township is rich in cultural heritage and traditions. It is known for the construction and worship of pagodas, as well as the renovation and maintenance of religious buildings. In honor of King Anawrahta’s legacy, the annual White Elephant Festival is held at the Shwethalyaung Pagoda on the full moon day of Thadingyut. During the festival, white elephant figurines—made of gold, silver, and fabric—are offered as donations. People also make offerings and donations at pagodas and religious sites. The township is famous for its traditional elephant dance competition, held on the 14th day of the Thadingyut lunar month. Participants showcase their craftsmanship and creativity by designing traditional, baby, star-patterned, and innovative elephant figures. This festival attracts visitors from across Myanmar and around the world, earning Kyaukse the title of “Elephant City.”
Kyaukse Township contributes to the national economy through large-scale industrial projects. Notable establishments include the Kyangin Cement Factory in the industrial zone and the My King Dairy Factory in Yaysu Ward. Additionally, Htan Myint Mo Village specializes in mango-based value-added products such as mango jam, mango juice, mango wine, mango toffee, and mango jelly.
- Establishment of the University
The Technological University (Kyaukse) was established to fulfill the responsibility of nurturing, training, and producing skilled human resources continuously in the fields of science, technology, and innovation, which is one of the objectives of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Technological University (Kyaukse) is located in Aye Mya Kyaw Lin Ward, Kyaukse Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region, Central Myanmar. It spans an area of 91.33 acres and operates under the Ministry of Science and Technology, specifically under the Department of Advanced Science and Technology.
The university was initially founded as a Government Technical Institute (GTI) in 1998. In 2001, it was upgraded to Government Technological College (GTC), and in 2007, it was further upgraded and officially established as Technological University (Kyaukse).

To become an internationally recognized University by offering high quality contemporary engineering education and research and by producing competent graduates who are effective communicators and abide by the ethical standards of their profession.

Since 2015, Technological University (Kyaukse) has implemented the international management standards of ISO 9001 in its educational services and has obtained certification. In 2017, the disciplines of Urban Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Information Technology, Metallurgical Engineering, and Materials Science Engineering received provisional accreditation from the Myanmar Engineering Council and the Engineering Education Accreditation Committee. In 2019, the university became a member of the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). Currently, Technological University (Kyaukse) is actively participating in the AUN-QA Community Project (2023–2027).
The first research conference was held in August 2018, and the first research journal was published in January 2019. As of 2024, a total of six research journals have been published, with the seventh issue planned for release in 2025.
From 1998 to 2000, the university initially offered courses in Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering (EC), Electrical Power Engineering (EP), Mechanical Engineering (MP), and Metallurgical Engineering (MT), awarding AGTI certificates. Between 2002 and 2003, additional courses in Information Technology (IT), Mechatronics (MC), Metallurgy, Textile Engineering, Biotechnology, and Aquaculture were introduced, awarding Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) degrees. From 2004 to 2005, Architecture was introduced as a new program, leading to a Bachelor of Architecture (B-Arch) degree. Between 2006 and 2007, Chemical Engineering and Mining Engineering were added, with students earning Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) degrees. In 2007–2008, the Nanotechnology (NT) program was introduced, awarding a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree.
3. Upgrades and Development Progress
In accordance with the directive issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology on January 20, 2007 (Reference No. 91), the institution was upgraded to the status of a Technological University. Since then, undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs have been expanded to include a wide range of engineering disciplines. Currently, the university offers programs in Urban Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Knowledge Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Nuclear Technology Engineering, Industrial Electronics Engineering, and Biotechnology. At present, the total student enrollment across all disciplines stands at 1,050.

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, Technological University (Kyaukse) held its 19th Graduation Ceremony at Aung San Hall.
For faculty accommodation, the university has provided two four-story staff housing buildings with four units each, six two-story staff housing buildings with six units each, and additional single-story dormitories for staff members. For students, there are two dormitories for male students and two dormitories for female students, each with a capacity of 160 residents. To support academic activities, practical training, departmental offices, and administrative functions, the university has constructed two three-story main buildings and several single-story buildings.

The University attempts to educate students to achieve those qualities through applying diverse learning activities in class, give lectures and talks by professionals and give training in the related industries. TU (Kse) also provides facilities and opportunity for staff and students to become a self-learner. TU(Kse) also provides university student life as part of the learning environment which includes residential living and students’ activities. TU(Kse) recognizes the value of its warm and friendly community. This unique character enhance the mutual understanding and encourage students’ motivation in learning.
In the three-story main building (Building 1), a library and an E-Library have been established for students and faculty members.
For sports and physical activities, facilities such as a gymnasium, basketball court, football field, volleyball court, Pike Kyaw Chin court, and a table tennis room have been provided. Additionally, four designated areas within the university have been equipped with fitness equipment for different types of physical exercises, allowing both staff and students to engage in health and wellness activities. Gym rooms are also available in the student dormitories. Seasonal sports competitions covering various disciplines are held annually, including monsoon and winter tournaments.
The Aung San Hall at Technological University (Kyaukse) serves as a venue for various events, including youth forums, welcome ceremonies for new students, academic excellence award ceremonies, subject introduction events, stakeholder meetings, traffic and drug awareness sessions, career opportunity talks, student gatherings, monthly staff meetings, educational seminars, workshops, electric vehicle (EV) fire safety awareness programs, graduation ceremonies, religious donation events, New Year dinners, Independence Day celebrations, and Union Day competitions and award ceremonies. Additionally, seasonal festivals and tree-planting activities are organized.
To support the well-being of staff and students, the university has established a basic medical clinic and a university post office in collaboration with relevant departments.
For relaxation and recreation, a park and a tree plantation area have been set up, providing a peaceful environment for students and staff. Study tables and benches are also placed within the park, allowing students to read freely. Newspapers, including the Mirror, the News light of Myanmar, The Global, and Yadanabon, are made available daily for students and staff to stay informed.
Technological University (Kyaukse) regularly updates its daily activities and announcements on its official website, www.kyauksetu.edu.mm, on a daily or weekly basis.
The university provides a 500 Mbps internet connection through LAN, Wireless Network, and Fiber Line in Main Buildings 1 & 2, faculty residences, and student dormitories. To ensure an uninterrupted power supply, the university collaborates with the township EPC, maintains a 100KV generator, and has installed a 20KW solar system in Main Building 1.
For the convenience of faculty members, the university has coordinated with local stores and markets to facilitate purchases of essential goods, including meat, fish, cooking oil, and eggs on a monthly basis. Additionally, university canteens operate daily, offering affordable food, groceries, and medicines for students and staff.
For banking services such as withdrawal and balance inquiries, students can conveniently use the automated teller machine (ATM) which is located in lobby of main Building 1. For full services, students can go to the Kanbawza bank, Myanma Economic bank, CB bank, Myanmar Apex bank, Ayeyarwaddy bank, Myawaddy bank in Kyaukse Township.
In terms of transportation, the university provides a 45-seater Fuso bus, a 9-seater microbus, and a Truck Canter for students and staff.
Student engagement is encouraged through various clubs and committees, including the Charity Organization, Daily Meal Donation Group, Literature & Arts Club, Red Cross Society, Hiking & Mountaineering Club, Environmental Club, and Sports Committees.
Additionally, the International Relations Department (IRD) and Human Resource Development (HRD) Department focus on local and international job opportunities, scholarships, exchange programs, collaborations with international institutions, training sessions, and educational seminars**, ensuring both academic and professional growth for students and staff.
Conclusion
The Technological University (Kyaukse) actively collaborates with international institutions in educational programs. Notably, an MOU was signed with the National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI) of Russia on October 6, 2023. As part of this agreement, a Joint Education Program (JEP) is currently being conducted at the university from February 17 to February 21, 2025, with participation from three professors: Dr. Alexander Nakhabov, Dr. Alexander Plyaskin, and Dr. Tatiana Melnikova.
Since its establishment, the university has produced a total of 21,134 graduates, including 152 Master of Engineering (M.E.) graduates, 20 Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) graduates, 5,890 Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) graduates, 6,774 Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) graduates, 33 Master of Science (M.S.) graduates, 22 Postgraduate Diploma (Pg.Dip.) holders, 333 Bachelor of Science (B.S.) graduates, and 7,885 AGTI certificate holders.
As one of Myanmar’s leading technological universities, TU Kyaukse offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in nine disciplines. The university holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and has received Provisionally Accredited Program certification. Furthermore, it is actively engaged in the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA) Community Project. To ensure the highest standards in education, the university collaborates with the Myanmar Engineering Council (MEngC) and the National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Committee (NARQAC) to enhance its academic quality and recognition.
On June 5, 2022, at the Environmental Conservation Day ceremony organized by the Mandalay Region Government, two lecturers from Technological University (Kyaukse) won the Second Prize and Third Prize for environmental conservation research at the regional level.
Technological University (Kyaukse) is also conducting a collaborative research project with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) titled “Food Authenticity and Traceability of High-Value Shwe Bo Paw San Rice Through Nuclear Analytical Techniques.” This research was led by Dr. Saw Thandar, Professor of the Nuclear Engineering Department.
In the 2022–2023 academic year, nine students participated in the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) competition, achieving remarkable success by winning Gold Prize, Silver Prize, Top 8 Winner, Second Prize, and National Contestant awards. In the 2023–2024 academic year, four students from Technological University (Kyaukse) received the Bronze Prize and Top 8 Finalist awards in the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) competition. Additionally, at the Science Festival jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Myanmar and Rosatom (Russian Federation’s Nuclear Energy Corporation), students from Technological University (Kyaukse) won the First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize in the HackAtom competition.
Future Plans
The Technological University (Kyaukse) and the National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI), Russia, have collaborated on an educational program (Joint Education Program – JEP) from 2024 to 2028. This program will be conducted twice a year, and in September 2025 or another suitable time, professors from MEPhI will visit Technological University (Kyaukse) to deliver lectures. Additionally, MEPhI will provide information on nuclear technology training, workshops, and conferences, allowing faculty members and students to exchange knowledge and strengthen cooperation.
